Arduino (ar-dew-een-oh) is an open-source electronics prototyping platform used by hundreds of thousands of makers and hobbyists across the planet. With an Arduino board, you can control a huge variety of devices and projects with only a minimal knowledge of electronics. Write code to automate tasks, and try out some of the many add-on modules and devices that expand Arduino's capabilities.
Learn what you can do with Arduino by writing your own code and completing various tasks: control lights, make music, and display text with our whirring persistence-of-vision machine. Then, tackle larger problems by either working with others or reverse-engineering existing programs.
