Veteran's Day was established to commemorate all who served in WWI. A century later, we know that War didn't end all wars. What can we do?
In the 1970s, a group of optimists began to create New Games. Their idea: play hard, play fair, play for friendship. It's worth a try.
• Construct a classic /Spinning Top Skittles Gallery – a realm in which you (and the top) make the rules.
• Invent a tennis ball cup toss game.
• Master group juggling with scarves (with a scarf to take home.)
• Learn Yurt Circle, a group construction game.
• Play Triangle Tag, a way to share the art of not getting tagged.
• Try Elephant, Palm, Monkey, a circle game of quick reactions and charades.
A day of experimenting with new ways to get to know people.
Fee: $70 per day
